Bucket Bags

Hello Friday and hello bags! 

As you may already know I have several obsessions and bags is one of them. There are many types of bags such as satchels, bowling, shoulder, saddle, tote  and of course bucket bags. Last year we saw more and more of these bucket bags and this year the bucket continues.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! 

Had a lovely weekend with the hubs starting with a Friday night dinner. Casual Friday called for jeans and a black sweater shirt. Adding color to my outfit I wore my Tourqoise SJP Lady Pumps.  

 Saturday morning was a very lazy one which was enjoyable. I was able to get some baskets done for the nieces before heading out to dinner. No special outfit.  

 Easter Sunday…we got to sleep in then I had a chance to run some errands before attending mass. I took out my purple SJP Lady Pumps to match my floral dress.

Red Lip

What was suppose to be a relaxing and fun weekend became staying in bed, taking my vitamin C and fighting a bug. I started to feel bad on Saturday and told my husband we were staying in. Not so bad as I got to watch the Belmont Stakes as history was made. Sunday came waking up a little worst I stayed in bed all morning and enjoyed watching the French Open Finals, I was cheering for Novak but it was a great match regardless of the winner. For the evening staying in wasn’t what my hubby had in mind so I made the effort of getting up and getting ready for a fast dinner followed by some mild shopping. 

I picked up two dresses at Ross as we are anticipating a brutal summer. Nonetheless, sneakers were my choice of shoes and red was the color for yesterday’s outfit. It’s funny how a little lip color can make a difference. I picked up this color back in February but never wore it until yesterday. The lipstick I wore is Red Lizard from Nars. I love it because it’s semi matte. As much as I like the way matte lipstick looks on others, on me it looks awful because my lips tend to be dry all the time. Wearing a matte lipstick emphasizes my peeling lips and well it doesn’t look cute. 

Hope you have a good week as I started my week on the left foot wearing all black, current mood…oh well tomorrow will be another day.

Happy Sunday

Happy Mother’s Day to my angel in heaven and to all moms on their special day. 

Yesterday I did a little shopping and added these Tory Burch peep toe wedges to my closet. With summer around the corner I started moving my shoes around and found that I need to replace my old wedges, so I was happy to find these on sale at Bloomingdales. Not only did I get them on sale but I also have a $25 loyalist points card coming! Gives me an excuse to visit the store again. 

Since the weather hasn’t felt like spring this May I headed to Forever21 for a long sleeve top and found this blouse for under $20. The upside of this shirt is that I can wear it for work too. I might have to return to do some shopping and add some tops to my work wardrobe. 

Keeping my outfit neutral I went for a bright lip and took out my Stilla liquid lipstick in Tesoro.

Sunday Shopping

While the hubby headed out to his baseball game I headed out to the mall and hit blommindales as they were having the take $25off for every $100 you spend.  

 So what did I buy? Well with summer around the corner I needed a new pair of sandals. My first thought was just to replace my tan sandals but I went for a pair of black sandals instead.
