Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! 

Had a lovely weekend with the hubs starting with a Friday night dinner. Casual Friday called for jeans and a black sweater shirt. Adding color to my outfit I wore my Tourqoise SJP Lady Pumps.  

 Saturday morning was a very lazy one which was enjoyable. I was able to get some baskets done for the nieces before heading out to dinner. No special outfit.  

 Easter Sunday…we got to sleep in then I had a chance to run some errands before attending mass. I took out my purple SJP Lady Pumps to match my floral dress.

Outfit for Days

This week is going by fast regardless of being sick. I thought the days at work would feel eternal due to not feeling well but oh how I was wrong.

Now to catch up with my outfits.
On Saturday I kept warm as we headed on out for dinner and to catch a movie. Wore a long sweater (short sweater dress) black tights and my UGGly boots. I had to be comfortable for our date. Sorry the pics are dark because they were taking late in the evening.

Sunday came and we headed out to dinner again! I know I’m not big on cooking but I got two days out due to cooking during the week! It’s a trade off I pack the hubby home cooked lunches during the week and he treats me on the weekends, although this week hasn’t been a success due to me feeling awful. For dinner I wore jeans, my Ralph Laurent ridding boots and this sweater I found in the closet. This sweater was given to me by the in-laws two Christmas’ ago.

Monday, oh how hard it was I get out of bed because that when I woke up with a massive headache and weak cough. I was in no mood to think of what I was wearing so went for flats and ran out the door. Added my old MK purse to add some color to my outfit.

Shoesday Tuesday, I had to get my spirits up and that meant wearing a cute pair of simple heels. My choice was these green Lady SJP pumps.

SJP Fawn Pump

The SJP Fawn Pump is back. Well technically it was never gone but the colors that the shoe came in were sold out, other than the black and nude. There is a range of colors with different materials such as leather, suede and satin currently available at Nordstrom. Unfortunately for many the Teal Fawn Pump was not brought back like the Smoke Suede (light gray) that was part of the original SJP Collection launch.

There is a lovely Pink Satin pump available but is on back order until sometime in March. I wonder if this is due to the Instagram announcement or because this is a pre-sale.

I was contemplating on purchasing the Fuchsia Carrie pump from Neiman Marcus but to my luck my size was no longer available. Even though these colored heels are most likely to go on sale by the time they do the most common sizes are all gone.

The decision comes to splurging on a pair of heels you love but don’t truly need or waiting and praying that when they do go on sale they are still available. So splurge or regret not being able to get them…what a dilemma!

Welcome Carries 2

My black SJP Carries arrived in the mail today. I got this pair from Neiman Marcus and was able to get $50 off using an offer. Why not save on an item that you know you will have to pay regular price anyways?

I was debating on getting another colored heel but decided to save on these as the colored heels will most likely go on sale later on when the next season arrives. This color hasn’t gone on sale since the Collection first launched and doubt it’s going on sale anytime soon either. My best guess is that this shoe will be a permanent style for the collection.

If the shoe fits buy it in every color. Not every color…just two.

You know you have a problem when you start buying the same shoe in different colors. After this SJP sale I must start saving saving for the next sale of course.

I saved on all my latest SJP purchases that I went crazy and purchased a Black pair of Carries… not on sale but I saved $50 off by purchasing from Neiman Marcus. I was cleaning up my inbox and came across a Neiman Marcus email, purchase of $200 you receive $50 off and I also got free rush shipping! I will definitely start paying attention to my emails. At this time I should have just waited to buy my black Carries and held off on the Red but saving 60% on them was a good deal.

Second pair in two colors are my Lady Pumps. On the Purple heels I only saved 50% but on my Olive pumps I saved 60%! Scored these heels for $129.97 with an original retail tag of $350, not bad.
