Fawntastic Monday

Mondays just got better… well not really just this Monday. After a long day at work I came home to my new Fawn pumps! These two colors were pre-sold at Nordstrom and as much as I didn’t want to pay full price, as soon as I ordered my shoes they were no longer available in my size. If you wanted to order but missed out on the Pink Satin good news is that they are now available at Neiman Marcus.

From the two I LOVE the pink but the yellow well it’s a yellow Gold. I was expecting something lighter and brighter and of course not as gold. These might just have to go right back. Nonetheless, these Fawntastic pair of heels made my Monday.

Bag of the Week

Happy Friday!!!
Oh how tiring this whole week has been. I haven’t been in the mood or had time to capture any of my outfits. So instead I’m sharing my new pink Michael Kors Dillon handbag.

I first say this bag during the holidays and I wanted to buy it but wanted to wait for it to go on sale. This bag was part of my Christmas Wish List. I purchased this bag in red when it went on sale at Macy’s but returned it when I got the pink one as a gift from the hubby.

This tote is similar to the Hamilton but of course it doesn’t have the signature lock that the Hamilton has. I love my Hamilton tote, color and all, but what I don’t love about it is that the weight of the lock makes the bag lose it’s shape.

Blessed

Last weekend the hubby took my family (brother and father, my immediate fam is small) and I to the PBR as an early birthday celebration. It was great because I got spend time with my fam by watching something that reminds me of my childhood. My father in his prime time loved the sport and my brother and I grew up watching it on TV. Although, we did get to see my dad ride a couple of times before my mom said enough!

Along with an early birthday celebration we celebrated the memory of my mother. Last weekend marked 7 years of her passing. I just can’t believe how time has gone by so fast. Doesn’t make a difference of how long it’s been because every day that goes by I miss her as if it was yesterday. When I think of her I can’t help get sad but then I remember how she was such an extraordinary person, always caring of others and such a loving mother to my brother and I. Then I can’t help but feel extremely proud and blessed to have her as my mother. I truly thank God for giving me an amazing and wonderful person to call mom.

Lovely Weekend

Hope you all had a Happy Valentines Day!

Started my Saturday by sleeping in followed by a busy afternoon cleaning and running errands. Since the hubby worked we didn’t plan on anything so when it came to dinner it was too late to be picky. We were still able to go out dinner but nothing over the top. I was able to make reservations to a small Mexican Grill, which was good but a little over priced for what we have gotten used to paying for Mexican food.

Regardless of how small the restaurant was it was V-Day and I sure had my pair of Lady SJP pumps in mind. I wore my poppy (red) heels and kept the rest of my outfit simple. My sweater was purchased from Old Navy on sale for a little less than $12!

I think I need to find another red lipstick that has more of an orange tone for it to match my shoes.

Thought I give this shoe it’s own post as I’ll be sharing different floral shoes as we get ready for spring. I saw these Guess Pumps at Macy’s when I went shopping for the hubby’s birthday. I thought I would go back and buy them but I knew I wasn’t going back to the mall soon so I decided to buy them online instead.

I’ve seen many floral pumps online but this one caught my eye as it has the gold G detail on the heel.
