Style Challenge Day 31

Three style challenges for today. Wearing this till death are these black cropped pants. I am wearing them until they die…that is until they are no longer wearable. I love this pair for work, although we aren’t allowed to wear cropped pants or in my case ankle pants. I figured these aren’t so bad compared to those that use colored jeans and think that is business casual yet alone those ladies in other departments that wear leggings and jeggings. Inspired by Instagram I am wearing a tank tee underneath my sweater. The mornings inside the office are chilly but in the afternoon when the sun hits it gets HOT. Thought wearing this tank under would help with the difference in temperature, so far so good. Matching my yellow sweater is my yellow Kate Spade handbag. On the feet are my favorite leopard Michael Kors flats, so old but I love them.

Pink for Style Challenge Day 30

After thinking about the pink skirt yesterday, I thought I could wear it today and bring out my new two tone pink shoedazzle pumps. At first I thought of wearing the laid out skirt, but because of the tulle type material it was too much for office wear. I’ll save this skirt for an outing or dinner date to wear with a pair of gold sandals. The pink skirt I wore today was purchased on sale at NY&Co. The color is no longer available but I found similar styles linked below. I am glad I wore this outfit because it sure lifted my spirit this morning…. Feeling pretty in pink! My accessory was my Neverfull Louis Vuitton handbag. We call it the “forever empty” as that is how my husband asked for it in the store. This bag was a gift from him when we got engaged. He sure surprised me as he is not a fan of spending money, especially on handbags. At first I stored the bag for a couple months not wanting to ruin it, but now it has been my weekender bag. It is so light weight and so much fits in it.

Style Challenge Day 29

The style challenge I am trying to do daily called for pink today, instead I did another style challenge for Day 29 Striped Sweetheart since I didn’t feel like looking for my pink skirt. For today’s outfit I shopped my closet. The striped black and white blouse was purchased at JCPenny 2 years ago for my birthday dinner (with hubby below). Slacks I usually purchase from NY&Co because I can always find petite sizing. I am short and when shopping for pants cropped are ankle and ankle are regular. These black pumps are an old pair from Nine West great for office wear.

Style Challenge Days 21-28

Day 22 Flats aren’t just for Brats. The look for this day was definitely not matching but I really liked the outcome. Gap pants, Coral shirt, Marc Jacobs handbag and my leopard Michael Kors Flats.

Day 23 Heavy Bags. Louis Vuitton Hampstead is my heavy bag because so much fits in it. I have other large bags but this purse complimented the rest of my outfit, Shoedazzle pumps and Lauren Conrad shirt from Kohls. The one thing I don’t like about luxury brands are that each year the price tag goes up. I purchased this handbag about 6 years ago and it was a couple hundred less…If I keep it long enough, even gently loved, I might be able to resale it for the purchase price.

Style Challenge Days 11-20

Day 11 wedge on a Ledge. Not so much on a ledge but these wedges are comfy for all day wear at work. Wedges are aerosoles and were purchased at Ross, these are actually my second pair. I purchased the first pair at famous footwear. Striped T-Shirt dress was a target find. I wore this outfit for a casual Friday at work.

Day 16 Sneaker Creeper. I can’t remember how old I was when my parents purchased my first pair of chucks. Classic style that will never get old.

Day 14 Anything on the Shoulders and Day 17 Haven’t worn this. Marc Jacobs handbag purchased last year. I love this purse so much I bought it in brown as well. (Previously posted) both bags were purchased on sale, Macy’s and Nordstom Rack. Shirt I bought at NY&Co a couple months ago and had not worn it.

Day 19 Sandal Scandal. Old Steve Madden Floral sandals, most likely purchased at Ross. Skirt was perfect for our day at the beach with the ocean and boat designed. I couldn’t forget about the nails. On the beach polish by Deborah Lippmann.
