Shoe of the Week

There is no doubt about it, Valentino Rockstud heels are a cult fav and they are here to stay. Sexy chic heels with a stylish rocker look, what’s not to love? Well the price! The price tag make them a total splurge for many of us. I first saw these heels in yellow on a fashion blogger’s IG last March and I feel in love… but I then started my SJP collection and thought I could buy 3 pairs for the price of one, well until now. Earlier this year I saw a lady trying the same yellow color at Neiman Marcus and oh my, in person they look even better. While window shopping In Vegas and I saw this Parrot (blue) color and I knew that would be my color of choice.

(while in Vegas)

We only live once, so buy the shoes! I’ve been working hard and some play was long overdue. By play I mean adding shoes to my tiny closet.

Is it bad that I now want another pair? Well my next pair might just be inspired heels as now more than ever we are seeing them everywhere. If I do decide to buy inspired heels I’ll be sharing from where I got them. I couldn’t claim them as the real thing but I also wouldn’t buy replicas that have the name tag as I am not a big supporter of  fakes. (Sounds contradicting) but I for me inspired is not the same as replicas. Here are a couple of Rockstud inspired heels.

Also, be careful from where you buy online because there are evil people claiming they are selling the real deal and charging you a hefty price while only selling replica products. Try to buy from reputable sites.

Happy Thursday

Rocking Out

Since I was on sharing mode yesterday I’d thought I share about the one time I went to see Maná. Well I’ve been to their concerts a couple of times so I’ll just share my recent experience. It was GREAT! They never disappoint. If they were to come back later this year I would attend the same exact concert all over again. As soon as the tickets went on sale I got online and was fortunate to get my hands on a pair. I was also lucky enough to get good floor seats.

My husband likes the band but not as much as I do. When I asked how he left about me taking someone else he was ok with it as he has attended their concerts before. With that being said, I invited my brother to go with me and without hesitation he said yes. I’m glad we went together as he had a blast and it was good sibling time. I thought I was going to embarrass him with my screaming and jumping around but it turns out we are just as crazy…ok I’m worst but he sure danced the night away. Here are a couple pics from the event and a short clip of the guitarist’s solo.

Now for the outfit I wore that night. I kept it simple with a black top and jeans while adding a little rock to my outfit with my SJP Collection heels. Finished my look with a pink lips. 💋

Trying to Keep Up

I’m back! Well no, not really. I couldn’t sleep last night so I started this post and thought I’d share my old outfits. Haven’t captured many as I’ve been super busy with work and it doesn’t seem it’s slowing down any time soon.
I’ll start with this past Sunday’s outfit. Floral dress from H&M and my SJP Collection Ina Mary Jane heels for Baby Shower shenanigans. Let’s not forget the shades as it was bright and sunny with a 90 degree this weekend up in the Cali dessert.

 Dress: H&M

Next up are my new blue shoes! This pair is from the fall collaboration of SJP with Tome. They may be from the fall collection but the color screams summer to me. I ordered these months ago when they went on pre-sale and I am beyond happy that they finally made it home. I am contemplating on wearing these to a wedding I have coming up this month. A little black dress with a pop of color, keeping it simple and classy yet chic.

Heels: other colors available through Zappos

Going back to a comfy Sunday and ready for shopping with my old floral top, cropped pants, sandals and cross body handbag. Topped it off with my sunnies and a fun lip color.

 Sandals: Tory Burch

A got a little patriotic for the Fourth of July weekend. Since there was no work Friday our casual day fell on that Thursday. I wore my jeans and my Rock and Republic t-shirt from Kohls. MK slip-ons and red handbag.

Handbag: on sale Michael Kors

Slip-ons: Michael Kors

Sunny Sunday with my hair down and shades on for a dinner date with the hubby.

Sunglasses: Tory Burch

Hope you all have a good week!
