This weekend I went shoe shopping and even though I did not find what I was looking for I found a pair of blue heels.
I first started my search at Macy’s, where I found a couple of heels I liked but not exactly the price point I was looking for. I’m saving for a handbag, not like I need another one but still want, so my price point was below $100. I found a pair of booties that I actually liked but were $150, so I passed. If I reconsider my handbag I will definitely go back for them. Or maybe a pre-Christmas gift from myself to me. With holidays and birthdays coming up I need to watch my pennies. The wants will turn into needs only.
Anyways, since I didn’t find anything I liked within my price range I decided to take a walk across the street to a DSW near the mall. I found another pair of booties I liked but the booties are not ideal to wear to work because of the height of the heel, not to mention the $149 price tag. So as I decided to see myself out of the store I looked up and saw this blue that caught my eye. I was not in the market for blue pumps, considering I have my oh so lovely teal pumps from the SJP collection, but I still decided to try them on.
At the end of the day this was my shoe purchase. I caved to spending on shoes I did not need… I would have gone back for them anyways, if not, I would have been upset for not buying them.
